What is the Own.fund?

The Own.fund is a collective of builders that have come together to support and empower founders in building the future of the creator economy. We are a collaboratively-owned investment vehicle that funds community-led and Social Token projects, as well as the tools and infrastructure that support them. We see ourselves as community capitalists with the mission of empowering growth in the creator economy.

The Own.fund carries out Snapshot voting using its OWN token so that our members are able to participate in investment and fund decisions. The OWN token possesses no intrinsic value and merely serves as a means of governance signaling. Funds are distributed using a multisig wallet, controlled by major, known participants in the cryptocurrency economy:
